IICC orientates each newly assigned employee at the on-set of each project as to what will be required of each employee pertaining to company policy and the rules and regulations regarding safety for the specific jobsite and area location.

All employees have a responsibility to themselves and to the company for their safety and the safety of their co-workers. All employees are required to:

  • Comply with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations relevant to their work.

  • Observe all company rules and regulations related to the efficient and safe performance of their work.

  • Integrate safety into each job function and live by this philosophy in the performance of all their job duties.

  • Report and/or correct unsafe equipment and practices with the authority to STOP the job any time if an unsafe condition or practice is observed.

  • Report and investigate all accidents, incidents, and/or near misses that may occur while on the job.

IICC is committed to developing and enforcing a quality safety and loss control program.

In 2009 IICC was awarded the SCRA Zero injury safety award and the NMAPC Zisa safety award for projects with over 100,000 manhours without a recordable or lost time injury.
